We are hiring substitute food service workers and substitute custodians in ORANGEBURG SCHOOL DISTRICT. No previous experience is required!

Substitute food service workers may also be known as culinary workers, cafeteria workers or school nutrition workers. Substitute custodians may also be referred to as custodial workers or maintenance workers.

Minimum requirements:
- High School Diploma (Food Service Only)(No High School Diploma or degree required for Custodian)
- Negative TB Test (within past 12 months)
- Pass Background Screens
- $8.25/hour
Responsibilities:
Food Services:
Responsibilities and Job Description(s):
- Assume duties of the district food service worker in accordance with school district policies, school rules, and Kelly policies.
- Cooperate with the School Food Service Manager to provide a positive and inviting dining experience for students and faculty.
Custodian:
Responsibilities and Job Description(s):
- Assist in providing cleaning, maintenance and other custodial care services to the building and school grounds, under the direction and guidance of School District personnel
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishment as needed
- Follow established safety protocols and use appropriate protective equipment (PPE)
- Assume duties of the district custodian worker in accordance with school district policies, school rules, and Kelly policies.
