What You’ll Be Doing
As the Production Supervisor, you’ll lead daily afternoon assembly operations, manage production employees, and ensure your team meets safety, quality, and productivity expectations.
This is a hands-on leadership role, with approximately 80% of your time spent on the production floor and 20% handling administrative responsibilities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead, coach, and supervise approximately 50 production employees, including assembly technicians, team leaders, and manufacturing support personnel.
- Oversee daily operations across automated assembly lines and supporting production areas.
- Coordinate staffing, employee assignments, and production schedules to meet customer demand and delivery requirements.
- Monitor production performance, quality, scrap levels, and safety standards to ensure operational goals are achieved.
- Conduct pre-shift meetings, communicate production priorities, and provide ongoing employee coaching and development.
- Work closely with maintenance, material scheduling, and other departments to resolve operational issues and minimize downtime.
- Address employee performance concerns, maintain attendance records, and ensure company policies and procedures are followed.
- Identify opportunities to improve production efficiency, workflow, safety, and overall team performance.
You’ll have significant decision-making authority during your shift, making this an ideal opportunity for a confident leader who enjoys taking ownership of daily operations.
What We’re Looking For
- 3–5 years of supervisory leadership experience in a manufacturing, production, or assembly environment required.
- Experience leading employees in a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing facility.
- Strong understanding of production operations, staffing, safety, and quality standards.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, develop, and hold employees accountable.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable making independent decisions and responding to production challenges.
- Basic Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook and Excel.
- SAP experience is a plus but not required.
- Ability to work the afternoon shift, additional hours as needed, and occasional Saturdays.
Why You’ll Love This Opportunity
This position offers the opportunity to lead an established production team in a clean, climate-controlled manufacturing facility with highly automated equipment and a strong focus on safety and quality.
You’ll enjoy a consistent afternoon schedule, limited weekend requirements, excellent benefits, and the autonomy to make meaningful decisions that directly impact production performance.
Unlike positions that require supervisors to routinely operate machinery or perform maintenance, this role is focused on leadership, employee development, and operational excellence.
If you’re an experienced manufacturing supervisor looking for a long-term opportunity with a company that values strong leadership, teamwork, and continuous improvement, we encourage you to apply!
