Shift: 5:30pm – 2:00am -Sunday -Thursday

Position Overview
Kelly Services is seeking a dedicated Forklift Operator (Dock Worker/Forklift Driver) to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate is familiar with forklift controls and capabilities, attentive to detail, and able to work independently or as part of a team. Strong communication skills and physical stamina are required, as this role may involve lifting and moving heavy materials.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Inspect forklift before use to ensure proper working condition.
- Load and unload materials and goods onto/off trucks, trailers, or storage areas.
- Maintain inventory records and report discrepancies to management.
- Operate forklift in a safe and responsible manner at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
- Report any forklift malfunctions or maintenance needs to management.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed.
Requirements
- At least 3 months of forklift experience and/or warehouse distribution equipment operation.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to pass internal Forklift Certification Training and demonstrate safety procedures.
- Able to perform tasks in occasionally dusty, hot, and/or cold working conditions.
Physical Requirements
- Regularly required to speak or hear.
- Frequent standing on feet.
- Regularly required to lift and move up to 50 lbs; occasionally up to 65 lbs (team lifting and equipment provided as needed).
- Ability to perform physical activities involving arms, legs, and whole-body movements (bending, crouching, climbing steps/ladders, pushing, pulling, stooping, and reaching).
