Stamp Press Operator

Contract-to-hire | $20–$22 per hour, based on experience

We’re looking for a dependable Stamp Press Operator to help make quality metal-formed parts safely and efficiently. In this hands-on role, you’ll operate a stamping press, support die setup, check product quality, and keep your work area organized. If you have press experience and take pride in doing careful, reliable work, we’d love to hear from you.

Schedule

  • First shift: Monday–Thursday, 5:00 a.m.–3:10 p.m.
    First-day orientation begins at 7:30 a.m.

What you’ll do

  • Operate a stamping press and help set it up for production.

  • Prepare, adjust, and install dies using established procedures.

  • Load the correct material and help ensure it feeds smoothly into the press.

  • Check parts throughout production and document results as required.

  • Confirm that inspection tools and measuring devices are accurate and certified.

  • Perform initial and final product checks; communicate when a die is ready or needs attention from the tooling team.

  • Make sure packaging, protective materials, and product counts are correct.

  • Record production information accurately in the AX system.

  • Keep your work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.

  • Follow safety rules, work instructions, quality procedures, and production schedules.

  • Take responsibility for safe work practices and help prevent damage or injuries.

  • Complete other related duties as needed.

What you’ll bring

  • 1+ years of press-operation experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and hands-on experience.

  • Ability to read and write reports and follow safety, production, and inspection instructions.

  • A current forklift (“Hilo”) license is a plus, but not required.

  • Reliable attendance and a commitment to working safely and producing quality work.

Work environment and physical requirements

This role involves working near moving machinery and in a high-noise production environment. Required personal protective equipment must be worn in production areas. The job includes standing, walking, reaching, handling materials, and other movements throughout the shift. You may occasionally climb, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and may need to lift or move items weighing up to 40 pounds. Good close and distance vision, side vision, and depth perception are needed.
