Position Overview
The Gowning Services Technician supports daily operations within the gowning area, ensuring all personnel entering the semiconductor cleanroom environment are properly equipped and compliant with gowning procedures. This role is a mix of inventory control, customer service, and operational support, and plays a critical part in maintaining cleanroom standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Support daily gown room operations, including garment distribution and collection
• Scan, track, and manage garment inventory to ensure proper stock levels
• Sort and process used/dirty garments and coordinate replenishment
• Distribute consumables and supplies throughout gowning and fab areas
• Perform routine patrols to restock supplies as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of gowning areas (trash removal, general upkeep)
• Conduct compliance checks at gowning entrances (mask, garment, badge adherence)
• Assist with audits and policy enforcement to ensure cleanroom standards are met
• Provide support during abnormal events or evacuations as needed
• Assist with additional operational tasks as assigned
Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED required
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict procedures
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Basic computer skills required
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
Compensation and Benefits
• $18.00 per hour
• Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage
• 120 hours PTO annually (vacation/sick time)
• 10 paid holidays
Schedule Options
Shift A
• Sunday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Monday–Tuesday and every other Wednesday: 5:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
• Days off: Thursday, Friday, Saturday (plus alternating Wednesday)
Shift B (Nights Weekday Option)
• Monday–Friday: 1:00 PM – 12:00 AM (Approx. 50 hours per week)
• Weekends off
Shift C
• Thursday–Friday and every other Wednesday: 5:00 AM – 6:00 PM and then Saturday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
• Days off: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday (plus alternating Wednesday)
Note: There are currently no B or D shift schedules for Gowning Services.
