For those who want to keep growing, learning, and evolving. We at Kelly® hear you, and we’re here for you! We’re seeking Assembly Specialists to work at a premier manufacturing client in Newton, MA. 

  • Pay Rate: $25 per hour


  • Shift: 6:00 am – 2:30pm

Responsibilities

  • Operate light machining equipment such as drill presses, bench lathes, manual milling machines, tapping machines, deburring tools, and other production equipment.

  • Load and unload parts and materials into machines.

  • Perform routine machine setups and tooling changes following established procedures.

  • Read and interpret work instructions

  • Inspect finished parts using measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and visual inspection methods.

  • Record production and quality data accurately.

  • Identify and report machine malfunctions, quality concerns, or safety issues.

  • Perform routine equipment cleaning and basic preventive maintenance tasks.

  • Follow all safety procedures, quality standards, and company policies.

  • Support continuous improvement, 5S, and lean manufacturing initiatives.

  • Work collaboratively with supervisors, maintenance personnel, quality technicians, and team members to achieve production goals.

Qualifications:

  • Experience operating light machining equipment and performing routine setups.

  • Skilled in loading/unloading materials and basic maintenance tasks.

  • Ability to read work instructions and inspect parts using measuring tools.

  • Accurate data recording and reporting of production and quality issues.

  • Strong commitment to safety, quality standards, and company policies.

  • Team-oriented, with effective communication and support for continuous improvement initiatives.
