Kelly Outsourcing & Consulting Group (KellyOCG), a managed solution provider and business unit of Kelly Services, Inc., is currently seeking a Scientist I for a long-term engagement at one of our Global clients in Jacksonville FL
Benefits and Compensation:

Day shift – 40 hours a week
$24-25 an hour depending on experience
- Responsible for reference standard preparation for chromatographic techniques following USP and site-specific guidelines
- Responsible for accuracy and preparing a highly characterized material to ensure product identity, strength, quality and purity in a research and development environment
- Responsible for all data on reference standard preparation is all systems and documentation (LIMS, notebooks, etc…)
- Responsible for coordinating preparation of standards with chemists based on their project study and timeline.
- Responsible for basic chemical management.
- Responsible for water testing analysis including but not limited to identification, conductivity, odor, sentiment, and turbidity as requested
- Responsible for wet chemistry techniques in a research laboratory environment
Qualifications
- BS degree in the Sciences (Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Physics)
- 1-4 years experience working in an industrial lab
- Highly organized
- Excel, Word, PowerPoint experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Comfortable in the lab and administrative environment
- Excellent writing skills
- GxP lab experience preferred
