Kelly Engineering Services, in partnership with a prominent global leader in medical device manufacturing located in Irvine, CA, is currently hiring multiple CNC programmers.
As a CNC programmer, you will be responsible for generating instructions to control and operate CNC Mill/Lathe machinery. These instructions are developed through the analysis of blueprints and models of designated materials/products.
Position Title: CNC Programmer
1st Shift: 5am-1:30PM (overtime available)
Pay Rate: $28-$30 Hourly
Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Vacation, Sick Time, & Holiday Pay
Location: Irvine, CA
Job Description:
- Previous experience performing either Mastercam or Solidworks programming
- Responsible for program creation per customer specifications
- Ability to effectively make edits and equipment adjustments as required
- Perform machine programming, set-up, cleaning, and conduct minor repairs on machining equipment
- Observe machine operation to detect work piece defects or machine malfunction
- Ability to work with engineers and other related fields to produce desired tooling, fixtures, castings, or parts
- Proficiency with conventional mill, conventional lathe, surface grinder, and drill press
- Ability to read and interpret work order instructions, blueprints, engineer drawings and Standard Operating Procedures
- Knowledge of 3 Axis machining (Mill/ Lathe)
- HAAS, Citizen, Nakamura, Mitsubishi
