Manufacturing Engineer
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the position plans and conducts activities concerned with improving industrial assembly and welding processes, cutting waste both in labor and time, as well as accuracy in the final assembly of products. Works with multiple improvement strategies such as Six Sigma and Total Quality Management to solve, develop, and monitor improvement processes throughout the facility. The ideal candidate will have 3-10 years’ experience in a hands-on industrial fabrication environment to work with their team in the welding of industrial equipment.
Salary: $85K-$110K
Location: Summerville, SC

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Ability to review and modify CAD files of customer products to insure correct placement and assembly of structural components.
- Utilizes prints to fabricate components which includes using several forms of metal chip forming processes and assembly.
- Assists engineers, inspects products, conducts tests, and collects data.
- Knowledge with weldments highly desired as well as the design and assembly of fixtures
- Work with purchasing for MRO supplies.
- Knowledge with GD&T
- Quality Control mindset is required.
