Pay Rate:
$120-190K/Year (commensurate with experience)

Overview:
The Quality Assurance Manager oversees the quality program to meet customer requirements, ensuring accuracy in analyzing products, raw materials, and manufacturing process samples. Manages the Quality Control laboratory.

Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 1st/Day: Standard Hours

Responsibilities:

  • Defines and maintains quality programs and procedures.

  • Oversees issuance of Certificates of Analysis.

  • Develops procedures for disposition of non-conforming materials.

  • Conducts internal audits to ensure adherence to quality systems.

  • Reports on the effectiveness of the Quality Management System.

  • Hosts audits by customers and regulatory bodies.

  • Manages Customer Complaint Program.

  • Champions Root Cause Analysis and oversees Corrective Preventative Action Program.

  • Manages quality-related employee training.

  • Manages direct reports and QC laboratory activities.

  • Ensures compliance with lab and quality procedures.

  • Develops and improves analytical methods.

  • Serves as site LIMS administrator.

  • MSA/method validation, development and improvement.

  • Statistical data analysis, preferably using JMP, Minitab, etc.

  • Understand principle of operation of laboratory instruments, preferably ICP, IC, HPLC, GC, including advanced troubleshooting skills.

  • Proven ability to manage a QC lab, preferably in a 24/7 manufacturing facility.

  • Maintaining company-wide QMS with thorough understanding of ISO 9001 standard requirements and application.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or related science.

  • Minimum five years in Quality Control and Quality management.

  • Leadership experience within the field.

  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality standards.

  • Familiarity with GMP and FDA requirements.

  • Strong analytical and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage workload.

  • Demonstrated leadership in people and quality programs.

  • LIMS administrator experience preferred.
