Customer Service Representative – Lake Forest, Illinois
Pay: $22.60/hr
Location: Lake Forest, Illinois
Position Overview:
As a Customer Service Representative, you will play a vital role in supporting our company’s profit and service objectives. In this position, you will ensure the accurate and timely handling of customer orders, inquiries, and concerns, while working cross-functionally to maintain strong customer relationships and service excellence.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage customer orders, ensuring accurate and timely processing in line with company policies.

  • Review orders for lead-time, product availability, and adherence to order policies.

  • Act as a liaison between the customer and other functional teams to address discrepancies or issues with product requirements or capabilities.

  • Represent the voice of the customer daily for the Sales and Marketing team.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with assigned accounts to enhance service levels and provide Novolex with a competitive edge.

  • Gather and report data on key account relationships, offering insights on customer satisfaction and evolving requirements to the Sales and Marketing teams.

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree preferred, or High School diploma and significant customer service experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • SAP experience a plus.

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to review and ensure compliance with order policies.

  • Ability to collaborate with various internal departments to resolve customer needs.

  • A customer-centric approach, focused on delivering excellent service and satisfaction.
