Sanitation Technician
Location: 16800 SE Evelyn St, Clackamas, OR
Schedule: Sunday – Wednesday, 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay: Starting at $19/hour (higher for experienced Sanitation Technicians)
Job Summary
The Sanitation Technician is responsible for ensuring all production equipment, conveyors, and facility areas are properly cleaned and sanitized in compliance with strict food safety, GMP, and sanitation standards. This role supports multiple departments under time-sensitive conditions and requires strong attention to detail and consistency.
All cleaning and sanitation work must be accurately completed and documented according to standard operating procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean beverage processing and manufacturing equipment (COP and CIP systems)
- Disassemble and remove machine guards and accessories for cleaning
- Clean floors, conveyors, and surrounding production areas
- Operate floor scrubbers and sweepers in warehouse areas
- Perform pasteurizer cleaning and sanitation procedures
- Pressure wash equipment and facility areas as needed
- Remove grease buildup under fillers and production equipment
- Follow strict GMP, food safety, and sanitation procedures
- Accurately document cleaning activities and verify completion
Minimum Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 1–3 months of manufacturing experience preferred (food or beverage industry strongly preferred)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions in English
- Basic math skills
- Reliable, dependable, and consistent attendance record
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
