Automation Engineer (Aveva PI, System Platform, GAMP5 Compliance)
- Location: 100% ONSITE – Marlborough, Massachusetts (01752)
- Type: W2 contract (C2C OR THIRD PARTY will NOT be considered)
- Pay Rate: UP to $60- $65/hour based on DIRECT related experience
- Duration: 8-month contract (Contract extension possibilities)
- Work Authorization: Must be currently located and authorized to work in the United States without CURRENT sponsorship requirements.
Please Note:
Applicants without direct, hands-on experience with Aveva (Wonderware) technologies, Pi Historian & Pi Vision, and GAMP5 software validation/testing documentation will not be considered.
Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer with hands-on expertise in Aveva/OSI Pi Historian & Pi Vision and Aveva System Platform 2020. The ideal candidate has demonstrated experience in regulated environments with GAMP5 (V-Model) documentation, validation, and verification.
Top Must-Have Requirements:
- Direct experience with Aveva/OSI Pi Historian & Pi Vision
- Hands-on deployment and customization of Aveva System Platform 2020
- Strong background in GAMP5 (V-Model) documentation for software validation
Key Responsibilities
- Generate project documentation for requirements and testing
- Deploy and customize existing software library elements to meet project requirements
- Perform engineering tests and protocol shakedown activities
- Execute formal verification testing
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues related to process equipment hardware and software
- Participate in FlexFactory and/or customized standalone projects under the direction of the project lead
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project outcomes
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with industrial communication protocols (Profibus, OPC, EtherNet/IP)
- Verification test planning, execution, and troubleshooting in regulated industries
- Excellent cross-functional teamwork and communication abilities
