Supplier Quality Engineer – Integration Project
- Location: Hybrid – Boston Massachusetts area (01841)
- Type: W2 contract (NO C2C OR THIRD PARTY will NOT be considered)
- Pay Rate: Negotiable depending on DIRECT related experience UP to $55 – $65/hour
- Duration: 12-month contract (Estimated to end 4/27; contract extension potential)
- Work Authorization: Must be currently located and authorized to work in the United States WITHOUT sponsorship requirements.
About the Role:
- Support the onboarding of newly acquired supplier bases into our organization following recent mergers and acquisitions.
- You’ll facilitate supplier integration, audit for compliance, and work collaboratively with cross-functional global teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Audit and assess new suppliers to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Lead supplier onboarding activities and close out non-conformances.
- Act as a liaison between the newly integrated site and global teams.
- Monitor supplier technology trends and quality metrics as needed.
- Travel locally to supplier sites; participate in national team meetings.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree; 10+ years of professional experience including 5+ years of supplier quality engineering.
- Experience in medical devices or other regulated industries.
- Current or expired external lead auditor certification.
- Valid driver’s license; ability to travel locally and up to 25% within the US.
