Job details

Job Title: Pick and Pack Worker

Location: San Diego, CA 92121

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Pay Rate: USD $35.00/hr

Contract: Temporary (3 Months, potential temp-to-hire)

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in a cGMP, pharmaceutical, or clinical environment
• Minimum of 4 years of experience operating and maintaining packaging equipment
• Strong attention to detail, especially when working with look-alike products
• Ability to work in a team environment and follow strict procedures
• Experience with labeling, inspection, and packaging processes
• Ability to use barcode scanning equipment and computers

Responsibilities:
• Perform packaging and labeling of clinical trial products
• Lead production rooms and oversee activities from pre-line to post-line processes
• Review production batch records and ensure quality output
• Manage label control, including printing, inspection, and documentation
• Train new staff and support production team members
• Inspect products for quality issues such as missing components, defects, or improper sealing
• Operate packaging equipment and support production processes
• Handle assembly tasks, including blister fill, bottle fill, pouch, and vial/syringe inspection
• Perform cleaning of equipment, production rooms, and product contact parts following SOPs
• Maintain cleaning logs and documentation
• Follow strict procedures when working with assigned products and multi-fill operations
• Support production scheduling and daily operations in coordination with management
• Assist with investigations related to deviations or customer complaints
• Perform additional tasks as assigned
