Job details

Job Title: Shipping/Receiving Worker

Location: San Diego, CA 92121

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Pay Rate: USD $33.00/hr

Contract: Temporary – 3 Months, potential temp-to-hire. 

Qualifications:
• High school diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred
• 2-4 years of relevant distribution, logistics, or supply chain experience
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities:
• Schedule, process, and audit clinical supply orders based on client requests
• Coordinate and dispatch shipments of clinical trial materials to clinical sites
• Work with project management to define distribution needs
• Process orders and audit documentation for accuracy against customer requests
• Run reports to manage and coordinate daily and weekly workflow
• Ensure orders are processed and shipped within required turnaround times
• Coordinate with internal teams to resolve operational and documentation issues
• Manage shipment bookings, including FedEx and non-FedEx shipments
• Prepare shipment documentation and invoices
• Maintain distribution records and labeling worksheets
• Coordinate international shipments and required documentation
• Ensure shipments comply with SOPs and GMP requirements
• Acknowledge shipment dispatch in required systems
• Support additional distribution and supply chain tasks as needed
