CNC Operator Responsibilities

  • Set up, program, and operate CNC machines (including HAAS CNC lathes and vertical/horizontal milling machines) for precision drilling, grinding, milling, and finishing tasks

  • Monitor and adjust machine operations for optimal productivity and quality assurance

  • Package finished components safely and efficiently for shipment

  • Apply lean manufacturing methodologies to improve workflow and reduce waste

  • Maintain organized, safe work areas (including floor, benches, storage spaces)

  • Inspect completed parts to ensure accuracy and meet engineering specifications

  • Regularly lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs during daily tasks

Qualifications & Skills

  • Proven experience with CNC milling machines and HAAS CNC lathes preferred

  • Familiar with CNC programming, G-Code, and CNC milling operations

  • Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and verify measurements

  • Proficient in material handling and committed to safe manufacturing practices

  • Computer literacy required (documentation, using CNC operating software)

  • Detailed-oriented, accountable, reliable team player

  • Strong communication skills and adaptability in a fast-paced setting

  • Strict adherence to PPE and all safety regulations
