Position Summary

We are looking for skilled Clamp Operators to join our high-paced distribution team. As a Clamp Operator, you will be responsible for operating clamp equipment to move, handle, and track merchandise with a strict focus on safety, accuracy, and efficiency.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Operate clamp equipment to stack, store, retrieve, and move products safely and efficiently

  • Unload inbound shipments and transport products to appropriate storage locations using clamp equipment

  • Pull, prepare, and stage products for shipment with accuracy and care

  • Verify product quantities and types for all shipments; perform order filling and order checking as needed

  • Move products from staging or storage areas into trailers using the clamp

  • Complete all assigned tasks following established safety protocols and standard operating procedures

  • Keep accurate records and reports for inventory control and security

  • Support regular physical inventories, cycle counts, and proper stock rotation

  • Perform pre-operation equipment checks and complete related inspection forms

  • Use RF scanning devices to maintain inventory accuracy and process orders

  • Report inventory discrepancies and safety issues promptly to supervisors

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Required Skills & Experience

  • High school diploma or GED preferred

  • Minimum of 1 year of clamp equipment operation experience required

  • Valid clamp operator certification (or ability to obtain)

  • Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs and stand, walk, bend, stretch, and reach for extended shifts (10–12 hours)

  • Able to work in varied warehouse conditions (noise, lighting, temperature)

  • Ability to cover long distances in large warehouse facilities

  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and teamwork skills

  • Basic math skills and general computer literacy (Excel a plus)

  • Availability to work irregular or extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays when needed
