Line Operator (Night Shift)
Location: Mocksville, NC
Pay: $21.00/hour + $1.00 shift differential ($22.00/hour total)
Schedule: 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM (Night Shift)
Position Overview
We are seeking experienced and reliable Line Operators to support production operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. In this role, you will operate and monitor production lines, ensure product quality, and maintain efficiency throughout your shift.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow all safety procedures and operate equipment according to company guidelines
- Communicate effectively with slitter operators, lab teams, and leadership
- Review work orders and perform line clearance checks at shift start and during changeovers
- Verify machine settings to ensure products meet specifications and recipes
- Monitor production systems (MII, Cognex) and maintain accurate production logs
- Perform independent start-up and shutdown of production lines
Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing or machine operator experience required
- Ability to troubleshoot production and quality issues
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Basic understanding of production systems and documentation
Work Environment
- Industrial manufacturing setting
- Exposure to machinery, noise, and varying temperatures
- PPE required at all times
