Slitter Operator (Night Shift)
Location: Mocksville, NC
Pay: $21.00/hour + $1.00 shift differential ($22.00/hour total)
Schedule: 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM (Night Shift)
Position Overview
We are seeking detail-oriented Slitter Operators to support production operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. In this role, you will be responsible for operating slitting equipment, ensuring precision cutting, and maintaining quality standards. This position requires strong mechanical skills and the ability to troubleshoot equipment and product quality issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow all safety procedures and operate equipment according to guidelines
- Communicate effectively with line operators, lab teams, and leadership
- Review work orders and perform line clearance checks
- Verify machine settings and ensure product specifications are met
- Set up and align knives based on recipes and work orders
- Operate all manual functions of slitting equipment
Qualifications
- Previous slitter or machine operator experience preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read and follow detailed instructions and specifications
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Work Environment
- Industrial manufacturing setting
- Exposure to machinery, noise, and moving equipment
- PPE required at all times
