At Kelly® Professional & Industrial, we’re passionate about helping you find a job that works for you. How about this one?  We’re seeking a Warehouse Operator to work at a local company in Lakeland, FL 33803.  If this sounds like the right fit for you, read on and apply!

  • Rotating Shift Schedule: 7 days on 7 days off 12-hour shifts. Schedule will begin 8am-5pm for training, then transition to 12 hours a day. The transition could be 6am-6pm or 6pm-6am as needed.

  • Pay Rate: $19.00 to $20.00 DOE

  • Temp to hire

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely and efficiently.

  • Load and unload citrus pallets and crates from trucks and storage areas.

  • Transport citrus products between production, storage, and shipping areas.

  • Stack products in accordance with company procedures and safety guidelines.

  • Inspect and maintain forklift equipment, reporting any mechanical issues.

  • Assist with inventory management and cycle counts as needed.

  • Keep work areas clean and organized, complying with sanitation standards relevant to food production.

  • Follow company policies regarding safety, quality, and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).

  • Provide training and support to junior team members as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

  • Valid forklift operator certification/license.

  • Previous experience working in a warehouse—citrus or food industry experience is beneficial.

  • Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), stand and walk for extended periods.

  • Attention to detail and commitment to safety.

  • Good communication and teamwork skills.

  • Knowledge of warehouse software or experience with inventory systems is a plus.
