Event Staff – Registration & Guest Services ($19/hr | May 15–21)
We are hiring dependable and professional Event Staff to support a large-scale event for a company in Tampa, FL.
Pay rate: $19/hour
Dates: May 15th – May 21st
Schedule: Varies by assignment
Dress Code: All black attire (black top, black pants, black shoes; no jeans or logos).
Position Overview:
- This is a short-term opportunity ideal for individuals with strong customer service skills and a positive, proactive attitude.
- Staff will assist with event registration and guest flow in roles such as Typist, Self-Service Registration Assistant, Line Monitor, and Badge Scanner.
- Responsibilities may include helping attendees check in, updating registrations, directing foot traffic, and scanning badges for entry into event areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service to all attendees
- Assist with registration, badge printing, and check-in support
- Direct guests to appropriate lines or locations
- Scan and verify badges for event access
- Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable using basic technology (computers, tablets, scanners)
- Professional appearance and attitude
- Ability to stand and/or sit for extended periods depending on assignment
- Reliable and punctual.
