EHS Specialists 
Turnaround Project need from May-July

Work Schedule

  • 7 days per week

  • 12-hour shifts

  • Significant overtime required

Position Overview
EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) Specialists are responsible for monitoring and reporting on workplace safety and compliance during turnaround operations. This role focuses exclusively on observing work activities for adherence to Dow’s safety protocols and expectations—no hands-on construction work is involved. EHS Specialists will play a critical role in promoting a safe work environment by ensuring continuous compliance with all safety standards.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 5–10 years of experience in safety, EHS, or inspector roles

  • Strong background in industrial or construction safety (required)

  • Experience working with Dow processes and standards is highly desirable, but applicants with substantial industrial safety expertise are also encouraged to apply

Core Competencies

  • Proficiency in conducting safety observations and producing accurate reports

  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with field teams and site leadership

  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with email, document creation, and safety reporting tools

  • Comfortable and confident working within industrial environments

Compliance Requirements

  • Active Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card required
