Description

Primary duties include warehouse support by assisting in preparing goods for packaging, warehousing and distribution. Hours are Monday – Friday, 8:00a-6:30 pm

Responsibilities:

Include but are not limited to the following. The Company reserves the right to add to, delete, change, or modify the essential duties and responsibilities at any time. All work is to be completed with minimum supervision and in accordance with Company standards. Other duties may be assigned.

· Receive and stock product (bulk and package); repackaging.

· Perform tank readings, customer pick-ups, LTL shipments.

· Restock warehouse/driver supplies.

· Loads, fills and labels drums, kegs, pails and other containers from bulk according to assignment in an efficient and accurate manner.

· Places containers on pallets for transport or stock.

· Picks and stages products to be loaded in delivery trucks according to the delivery schedule.

· Loads and properly secures products in delivery trucks according to manifest on a daily basis.

· Unloads delivery trucks in an efficient manner and stores products in appropriate area.

· Completes and submits accurate records of products received and/or filled on a daily basis.

· Updates products that are loaded on all trucks and utilizes the load/unload slips.

· Retrieves and submits packing slips for products received in a timely fashion.

· Operates forklift, hand truck, pallet and electric jack as needed.

· Assists in tracking returned drum inventory.

· Maintains warehouse area in a clean, orderly and safe manner and reports any corrective or preventive maintenance issues; fire extinguisher checks.

· Completes accurate inventory of products as needed.

· Adheres to all company policies and procedures paying special attention to health and/or safety procedures.

· Maintains a flexible work schedule to include irregular hours, weekend and holidays.

· Must pass a pre-employment physical and drug.

· Interacts positively with customers in all segments of Moove business.

· Will be required to act in a professional manner at all times.

Competency:

To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:

· Basic math skills including: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.

· Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.

· Ability to read road maps.

Requirements

Education/Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or less than one year related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certificates and Licenses:

Valid driver’s license may be required based on facility, a CDL is a plus.

Language Ability:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups or managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Math Ability:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Computer Skills:

Experience working in an ERP environment is desirable.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to work near moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to work in high, precarious places and risk of electrical shock.
