Senior Equipment Engineer
Kelly Engineering is seeking a Senior Equipment Engineer to own and optimize semiconductor equipment performance in a high-volume manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on engineering role, not a desk job.
What You’ll Do:
- Own performance, uptime, and reliability of assigned tools
- Lead tool installs, upgrades, and qualifications
- Troubleshoot complex equipment issues (etch/vacuum systems)
- Analyze tool data and drive yield improvements
- Manage spare parts and vendor support
- Develop maintenance procedures and train technicians
- Partner with process and maintenance teams
What We’re Looking For:
- Semiconductor fab experience (REQUIRED)
- Experience as a tool owner or equipment engineer
- Strong troubleshooting of vacuum / etch systems
- Hands-on mindset (not just design)
- Experience with vendors or field service (Lam, AMAT, etc. is a plus)
- Strong communication and problem-solving
Schedule:
- Monday – Friday
- Flexible start times
- Must attend daily morning meeting (~8:30 AM)
- Occasional off-hours support as needed
