Join our Quality Control team as a QC Chemist, where your work will directly support the safety, quality, and effectiveness of products that improve lives.

In this hands-on role, you will perform analytical testing on raw materials, finished products, and stability samples using advanced instrumentation such as HPLC, UPLC, GC, UV-Vis, and FTIR. You’ll play a key role in supporting manufacturing operations, maintaining compliance, and ensuring our lab remains audit-ready.


Key Responsibilities

? Analytical Testing (75%)

  • Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis on raw materials, finished products, and stability samples

  • Utilize instrumentation including HPLC, UPLC, GC, UV-Vis, FTIR, and particle size analyzers (Malvern)

  • Prepare reagents, standards, and samples in accordance with SOPs

  • Accurately document results in compliance with cGMP and Good Documentation Practices (GDP)

? Investigations Support (10%)

  • Assist in OOS (Out-of-Specification) and atypical result investigations

  • Collaborate with supervisors to identify root causes and implement corrective actions

?? Continuous Improvement (10%)

  • Contribute to initiatives that enhance laboratory efficiency, compliance, and data integrity

  • Support process improvements and best practices across QC operations

? Audit Readiness (5%)

  • Maintain audit-ready documentation and support internal and external audits

  • Ensure adherence to regulatory and quality standards

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related scientific field

  • Minimum 1+ year of experience in a pharmaceutical QC laboratory

Technical Skills

  • Hands-on experience with HPLC, UPLC, GC, UV-Vis, FTIR, and Empower software

  • Familiarity with cGMP regulations and GDP requirements

  • Experience with SAP and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) preferred

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical procedures precisely

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

  • Organized and adaptable in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

What You’ll Tackle

  • Managing shifting priorities due to instrument downtime, urgent testing needs, or supply constraints

  • Supporting investigations when results fall outside expected ranges

  • Troubleshooting analytical instruments (with guidance) to maintain lab efficiency
