Join our Quality Control team as a QC Chemist, where your work will directly support the safety, quality, and effectiveness of products that improve lives.
In this hands-on role, you will perform analytical testing on raw materials, finished products, and stability samples using advanced instrumentation such as HPLC, UPLC, GC, UV-Vis, and FTIR. You’ll play a key role in supporting manufacturing operations, maintaining compliance, and ensuring our lab remains audit-ready.
Key Responsibilities
? Analytical Testing (75%)
- Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis on raw materials, finished products, and stability samples
- Utilize instrumentation including HPLC, UPLC, GC, UV-Vis, FTIR, and particle size analyzers (Malvern)
- Prepare reagents, standards, and samples in accordance with SOPs
- Accurately document results in compliance with cGMP and Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
? Investigations Support (10%)
- Assist in OOS (Out-of-Specification) and atypical result investigations
- Collaborate with supervisors to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
?? Continuous Improvement (10%)
- Contribute to initiatives that enhance laboratory efficiency, compliance, and data integrity
- Support process improvements and best practices across QC operations
? Audit Readiness (5%)
- Maintain audit-ready documentation and support internal and external audits
- Ensure adherence to regulatory and quality standards
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related scientific field
- Minimum 1+ year of experience in a pharmaceutical QC laboratory
Technical Skills
- Hands-on experience with HPLC, UPLC, GC, UV-Vis, FTIR, and Empower software
- Familiarity with cGMP regulations and GDP requirements
- Experience with SAP and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) preferred
