Machine Operator I (Milling Tender) – East Longmeadow, MA
Kelly® is hiring a Machine Operator to join a leading manufacturing company in East Longmeadow, MA. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience and grow your career in a fast-paced environment.
Pay & Schedule
- $22.00/hour
- 2nd Shift Monday – Friday 3:15pm – 11:45pm
What You’ll Do
- Load and unload milling/toothing machines that cut teeth into metal bands
- Feed materials into machines and remove finished product
- Check work orders (“travelers”) to ensure correct materials and specs
- Monitor machine performance and keep production running smoothly
- Perform visual quality checks on finished parts
- Report material defects or machine issues
- Keep your work area clean and organized
- Follow all safety guidelines and use required PPE
Work Environment
- Warm work environment
- Fast-paced production setting
- May be loud (hearing protection required)
- Hands-on, repetitive work
What We’re Looking For
- High School Diploma or GED
- Able to lift 5–25 lbs
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Able to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision
- Good attention to detail and teamwork
