Job Title: Manufacturing Technician I (1st Shift)
Location: New Brighton, MN
Employment Type: Contingent Labor (12-month contract)
Hourly Pay Rate: $20.00
Hours: 40 per week

Position Summary:
Seeking a Manufacturing Technician I, supporting daily customer demand and production schedules in a medical device manufacturing environment. You will assemble, test, and inspect products according to established procedures, ensuring safety and quality at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and test medical devices using specialized equipment and work instructions

  • Adhere to safety rules and quality standards

  • Work closely with Manufacturing Leads to meet production goals

  • Participate in team problem-solving and continuous improvement activities

  • Report quality or process concerns to supervisors

  • Complete required documentation in compliance with regulatory guidelines

  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace following 5S principles

Qualifications:
Minimum:

  • High school diploma or relevant work experience

  • Ability to read and follow procedures and instructions

  • Effective communication skills

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Preferred:

  • Medical device manufacturing experience

  • GMP knowledge

  • Experience operating microscopes

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills

Physical Requirements:

  • Work in areas with adhesives, solvents, and chemical processes

  • Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching, bending, and twisting

  • Regularly lift/move up to 10 pounds; occasionally up to 50 pounds

  • Close vision and color vision required for inspecting small parts

  • Must adhere to controlled environment apparel and hygiene standards
