We are actively looking for a dependable and motivated Manufacturing Technician to join our client’s production team in Eagan! This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys working in a shop environment and takes pride in building quality products.
 
In this position, you will support the production of aluminum and stainless steel louvers and louver packs. Your day-to-day work will include cutting, punching, stacking, and assembling components using shop equipment and standard hand tools. You may also help pack finished products onto pallets or into crates for shipment. There is room for growth here, and additional opportunities may be available depending on your skills, interests, and motivation.
 
Schedule and pay:
 • Choose between Monday – Thursday from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm or a Monday – Friday schedule from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
 
Pay range: $18 to $26 per hour, depending on experience
 
What you’ll be doing:
• Operating shop equipment such as miter saws, punch machines, chop saws, drill presses, and grinders, with training provided
• Assembling parts and components while working at a bench or standing for extended periods
• Supporting machine operations and basic setup tasks
• Keeping work areas clean, organized, and safe
• Assisting with routine machine maintenance after training
• Measuring parts for in-process inspections and learning to read shop prints
• Packaging finished products, including counting parts, boxing, building pallets, and wrapping or strapping pallets
• Handling materials and operating a forklift once trained
• Helping with general shop tasks as needed
 
What we’re looking for:
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
• Comfort with basic shop tools or a strong willingness to learn
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well with others
• Self-motivated and reliable, with the ability to stay productive with minimal supervision
• Ability to safely lift up to 40 pounds
• Electrical wiring experience is a plus but not required
