Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation:

  • Dayshift: $22/hr

  • Nightshift: $23.50/hr

Shift:

12 hour shifts on a 2-2-3

What’s a typical day as Machine Operator? You’ll be:

  • Operating manufacturing equipment and performing routine operational duties and general maintenance.

  • Achieving line standards while maintaining strict quality and safety guidelines.

  • Identifying and correcting substandard materials and completing production/quality reports.

  • Printing and labeling rolls according to specifications, packaging finished laminate, making bails, and banding material.

  • Cutting cores to length, using utility knives, hoists, and/or fork trucks to load/unload rolls.

  • Completing chart/documentation with Lean principles and maintaining cleanliness in the work area.

  • Handling fitments responsibilities such as manual hose assembly, cap insertion, packaging, weighing, rotating stations, and completing required paperwork.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

  • Have a steady work history, preferably with experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • Bonus points for experience with plastics, Slitter, Laminator, Paper, Adhesive, Glue, or Injection Molding (not required).

  • Are able to move and lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.

  • Are comfortable with frequent standing, walking, sitting, bending, stooping, reaching, and using your hands to work machinery.

  • Possess required Visual Acuity (VA) to perform essential job functions.
