Kelly® Professional & Industrial is seeking Manufacturing Machine Operators to work at a premier manufacturing client in Northlake, IL. Sound like something you’re interested in? Shifts:
Rotating days off shifts
Steel toe boots are required
AM shift: 7am – 7pm ($22/hr)
PM shift: 7pm – 7am ($23.50/hr)

What will you be doing?
- Operating injection molding, slitting, and automatic bag making machinery in a clean manufacturing setting
- Performing routine operational duties, basic machine maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Achieving line standards while prioritizing safety and quality
- Identifying, quarantining, and correcting substandard materials
- Completing and maintaining detailed production and quality reports
- Printing and labeling rolls, packaging finished products, and preparing materials for shipment
- Using hoists or forklifts to load and unload rolls, conducting safety inspections on equipment each shift
- Assembling, measuring, and packaging plastic hoses at manual workstations
- Rotating between sitting and standing tasks, depending on the process
- Keeping work area clean and adhering to Lean manufacturing principles
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have a steady work history and experience in a manufacturing environment (specific experience in slitting or injection molding is not required)
- Are able to move and/or lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, and can frequently stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach
- Possess strong attention to detail and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Have visual acuity (VA) and can complete required paperwork accurately
- Are willing to work either day or night 12-hour shifts
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Can provide a resume and complete an interview as part of the screening process
