Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations and lead a team in a fast-paced environment. This is a hands-on, working supervisor role: you will both supervise and actively participate in operations, including operating a forklift, running machines, and training warehouse team members as needed.

The ideal candidate demonstrates strong supervisory skills, hands-on leadership, and a commitment to safety and continuous improvement.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and work alongside the warehouse team in daily operations such as receiving, storing, loading, unloading, and inventory movement

  • Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklift) as needed

  • Plan work schedules, assign tasks, and manage workflow and priority orders

  • Ensure a safe working environment by enforcing safety policies and procedures

  • Train, coach, and evaluate team members in proper procedures and safety

  • Monitor attendance, performance, and staffing levels

  • Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and periodic inventories; review inventory reports and resolve discrepancies

  • Support cross-functional coordination related to inventory and materials

  • Identify and implement process improvements for increased efficiency

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years’ supervisory experience in a warehouse or operational environment

  • At least 7 years of warehouse, shipping, or distribution experience

  • Forklift operation experience required; certification preferred

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities

  • Proven leadership, training, and team motivation skills

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

  • Warehouse setting with forklift traffic, noise, and moving equipment

  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching required

  • Regular lifting up to 25 lbs; occasional lifting up to 50 lbs (assistance available)
