Kelly® is seeking a Lab Sample Coordinator to work at a premier life sciences organization in Richmond, VA. Sound like something you’re interested in? 

Pay Rate: $20.16 per hour

Shift: 2nd – 4:30pm–1:00am

What’s a typical day as Lab Sample Coordinator? You’ll be:

  • Performing a variety of tasks related to sample and standard handling, including receipt, check-in, login, labeling, launching, inventory, transport, and check-out.

  • Participating in the physical return and disposal of materials to support laboratory operations.

  • Communicating sample and standard status updates to laboratory staff.

  • Guiding and advising laboratory staff on procedures and enforcing correct sample handling protocols.

  • Completing investigation and deviation forms, determining appropriate corrective actions (CAPAs), and reviewing laboratory requests for compliance.

  • Training on SOPs, regulatory guidelines, and storage requirements.

  • Responding to environmental unit alarms and participating in on-call responsibilities.

  • Ensuring all assignments are performed accurately, timely, and safely.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

  • Requires a high school diploma or equivalent

  • Have at least 2 years of relevant experience (or equivalent education, training, and experience) in laboratory, inventory, or regulated environments.

  • Possess basic knowledge of inventory flow, control, and laboratory documentation requirements.

  • Are able to write and review SOPs and process instructions.

  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

  • Are comfortable with on-call responsibilities and responding to urgent situations.
