NPI Materials Program Manager
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced NPI Materials Program Manager to support new product introduction (NPI) efforts in a fast-paced engineering environment. This role sits at the center of engineering, supply chain, and suppliers, ensuring materials are available, tracked, and aligned to build schedules from prototype through production.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Manage end-to-end material procurement for NPI and ramp builds
- Create and manage RFQs, ensuring cost, lead time, and risks are clearly communicated
- Place and track purchase orders (POs) with prototype and production suppliers
- Act as the main point of contact for vendors, handling schedules, specs, and delivery expectations
- Monitor supplier performance and proactively address delays or risks
- Track inventory and material status using Excel or similar tools
- Communicate Clear-to-Build status, shortages, and risks to engineering teams
- Partner cross-functionally with engineering, quality, and supply chain
What We’re Looking For
- 3-5 years of experience in materials, supply chain, or NPI support
- Strong experience with POs, RFQs, and supplier management
- Advanced Excel skills for tracking and reporting
- Experience working in hardware or manufacturing environments
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work across teams and vendors
