Kelly® Science & Clinical is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager for a direct hire position at a premier client located in Eau Claire, WI. Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: 105K – 115K/yr
Open to candidates relocating and assistance would be offered on a case by case basis.
Overview This client is a leading global provider in the self-care and consumer health industry, known for making lives better by bringing high quality and affordable self-care products. In this role, you’ll be working with leaders and colleagues from Manufacturing, Laboratory, Engineering, and Warehouse teams to ensure all infant formula products are produced, tested, stored, and released in full compliance with FDA regulations and company standards. This opportunity allows you to drive product quality and safety while advancing accessible wellness solutions for consumers everywhere.
Schedule: 100% onsite, M-F, 8-430PMEST; training may be necessary for staff members and flexibility on hours
Responsibilities:
- Oversee QA activities for infant formula production, including batch record review, product release, and quality system oversight
- Ensure compliance with 21 CFR 106/107 and current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) requirements
- Lead investigations, root cause analysis, and CAPA for deviations and quality events
- Conduct internal audits and support FDA, customer, and corporate audits
- Review and approve SOPs, change controls, validation documents, and quality-critical records
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve product and process performance
- Monitor quality metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Train, mentor, and lead QA staff to support a strong quality culture
- Serve as a key decision-maker for product quality and release
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or technical field
- Five years’ experience in a regulated manufacturing environment; experience with infant formula, food, or pharmaceutical products preferred but open to other FDA regulated consumer goods industry
- Ability to lead a team of up to 25 employees, including supervisors and technicians (QA and QC)
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience in quality assurance
- Strong understanding of cGMP, FDA regulations, and quality systems
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
