Senior Human Resources Manager – Nutrition Operations

Role Overview:
Kelly is seeking a talented Senior HR Manager to support Nutrition Operations at facilities in Eau Claire, WI and Covington, OH, with additional responsibility across the broader Nutrition operations network. You’ll provide strategic HR leadership to operations teams, partner with leadership to develop and execute human capital strategies, and drive employee and labor relations, engagement, and retention programs aligned with company values and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review, update, and recommend improvements to location HR policies, procedures, and practices annually.
- Lead employee relations and union-labor relations, including contract interpretation, labor law compliance, collective bargaining negotiations, grievance investigation, and arbitration preparation.
- Foster positive Union/Management relations and ensure accurate application of contracts.
- Drive organizational change and innovation, collaborating closely with site and business unit leaders.
- Manage employee engagement analytics and strategy development across the Nutrition Operations and Supply Chain network.
- Support leadership development, coaching, large project/program management, and best practice delivery.
- Measure and drive improvements of key HR metrics/scorecards.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Experience & Qualifications:
- 7–10 years of relevant HR experience; minimum of 5 years in a lead role in a unionized manufacturing environment preferred.
- Proven ability to establish and maintain relationships across all levels: management, union, and employees.
- Strong knowledge of labor relations practices, contract interpretation, mediation, unfair labor practice charges, LOA/MOA development.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and emotional intelligence skills.
- Strong analytical, strategic, and problem-solving abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in HR Management, Psychology, or Business required; Master’s degree and certifications (e.g., SHRM) preferred.
- Demonstrated adaptability, teamwork, and ability to influence without direct authority.
- Unquestioned integrity, objectivity, and confidentiality in handling sensitive matters.
- Customer-focused mindset with a bias for action.
