Job Title: Production Operator (3rd Shift)
Pay Rate: $20 per hour 
Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 4:00 PM – 4:00 AM


Job Description

Production Operators support the production team by operating, cleaning, preparing, repairing, and monitoring the equipment used to mix, screen, blend, grind, mill, crush, and process bulk powder compounds. This position involves mixing and handling bulk materials, recording information about the production process, monitoring processing parameters, and participating in process improvements and work plan development.

Note: Due to respirator requirements, all candidates must be clean shaven to properly wear a dust cartridge respirator mask.


Essential Functions

  • Process bulk materials according to customer specifications using equipment such as blenders, grinders, crushers, jet mills, fillers, conveyors, and screens.

  • Monitor process parameters in accordance with work order documentation.

  • Read, understand, and utilize project order documentation and checklists to set up and operate equipment, focusing on quality, safety, and food safety standards.

  • Maintain a clean and hazard-free work environment and worksite, following SQF, GMP, and SOP cleaning/maintenance procedures.

  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of processing and cleaning equipment according to SOPs.

  • Assist in the disassembly and re-assembly of processing equipment for cleaning and next use.

  • Accurately complete inventory, safety, and quality assurance documentation as needed.

  • Participate in department initiatives, including inventory counts, shop reorganization, and clean-up tasks.
