Kelly Services is currently hiring General Production associate in the Dublin, OH area. These 1st shift roles are Temp-To Hire, paying $17.00-$25.00 (depending on experience)

Location: Dublin, OH
Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm
Pay: $17.00-$25.00  (depending on experience)

General Production

Summary:
As a General Production, you’ll help us make sheet metal products by running different types of equipment. If you enjoy working with your hands, staying active, and being a part of a team, this could be a great fit for you.

What You’ll Do:

  • Run machines like spot welders, presses, and shearers to help build our sheet metal products.

  • Move and handle sheet metal parts, loading them onto machines or stacking them as needed.

  • Clean, grind, and scrape metal to get it ready for welding, painting, or shipping.

  • Check parts to make sure they’re made right, sometimes using blueprints or instructions.

  • Pick up leftover scrap and keep your workspace, tools, and equipment clean.

If You Have Experience, You Might Also:

  • Fine-tune metal parts with tools like hammers and grinders.

  • Plan out which steps to do first on a project.

  • Set up machines (press brakes, plasma cutters, drills, saws, etc.)

  • Build templates or fixtures that help with the sheet metal work.

What You Need:

  • High school diploma or GED is great.

  • Having 1–3 years of experience in a similar job is helpful but not required.

  • A combination of any experience or education works too.

Physical Stuff to Know:

  • You’ll spend a lot of time on your feet, standing, walking, stretching, bending, or lifting.

  • You’ll regularly need to lift up to 50 pounds, and once in a while, up to 100 pounds.

  • Good eyesight is important for this work.
