Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation:  $42 per hour
Shift: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
Location: Rhode Island/ Massachusetts
Benefits: Med/Den/Vis, 401(K),PTO, Paid Holidays

What’s a typical day as Indirect Material & Logistics Coordinator – Offshore Wind Service? You’ll be:

  • Ensuring efficient distribution of indirect materials such as chemicals, consumables, and tools, prioritizing site needs and optimizing logistics.

  • Rigorously maintaining and facilitating compliance for tool inspection and calibration, working with quality assurance teams.

  • Providing timely updates to internal stakeholders regarding planned activities, delivery schedules, and purchase order statuses.

  • Acting as the escalation point for logistical challenges and collaborating with supply chain management (SCM) to resolve issues and mitigate risks.

  • Coordinating with suppliers and transport partners to ensure timely, accurate, and cost-effective deliveries.

  • Preparing shipment documentation, including delivery notes and customs documentation, and communicating with customs agents/brokers globally.

  • Monitoring and managing accurate inventory records to reflect real-time stock levels.

  • Leading and participating in periodic SCM reviews to drive continuous process improvement.

  • Staying updated on industry trends and compliance standard changes for ongoing logistics enhancement.

  • Building strong relationships with internal customers to address needs, concerns, and process improvements.

  • Supporting site teams to ensure proper placement of orders in the required systems with complete and accurate information.

 
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or have relevant sector experience.

  • Possess proven experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.

  • Demonstrate knowledge of compliance standards for tool inspection, calibration, and EHS policy.

  • Are familiar with international shipping regulations and have experience preparing customs documents.

  • Excel in using supply chain and asset management software for efficient planning and tracking.

  • Communicate fluently in English, both in writing and speaking.

  • Are highly organized, proactive, and committed to high standards of safety and quality.

  • Thrive in multicultural teams and have strong interpersonal skills for managing escalations and stakeholder trust.

  • Always look for strategic opportunities for improvement and cost optimization in logistics operations.

  • Are able to travel regionally as needed and support teams across various sites.
