Job Title: Material Handler II

Location: Rochester, NY – 75 Panorama Creek Drive
Schedule: First Shift (6:30am – 3pm), 40 hours/week
Duration: 12 Months (Contingent Position)
Pay Rate: $20.00/hour (OT eligible after 40 hours)

Job Overview

Join our team as a Material Handler II, supporting our manufacturing operations by supplying molding machines with raw materials and components. Reporting directly to the Manufacturing Supervisor, you’ll follow established ISO 9001 Quality Work Instructions to ensure accuracy and efficiency in every step of the process.

Responsibilities

  • Supply molding machines with raw materials, components, and scrap containers.

  • Set up secondary molding equipment (cleaning dryers, moving equipment, etc.).

  • Navigate SAP systems to manage inventory and transactions.

  • Record resin lot numbers per Quality Work Instructions.

  • Ensure adequate resin and materials are available at the start of every shift.

  • Clean hoppers, wands, and drain hoses before and after material changeovers.

  • Order and supply components, resins, colorants for job changeovers.

  • Assist with isolating/separating non-conforming product as needed.

  • Perform line clearance and material return procedures.

  • Support 5S and maintain an organized work area.

  • Operate any department machine or operation as assigned.

  • Immediately report problems to Supervisor or Set-up personnel.

  • Strictly adhere to all departmental work and safety rules.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED required.

  • Basic knowledge of SAP and proficiency with weigh scales.

  • 1-2 years of forklift experience

  • Ability to perform basic math (addition/subtraction of whole numbers).

  • Able to read, write, and understand English.

  • Valid walkie truck operator license.

  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel).

  • Excellent hand/eye coordination.

  • Ability to lift and load pallets up to 35 pounds.
