Customer Care Health Representative

  • Remote: Yes (Local candidates only)

  • Pay Rate: $21.99/hr

  • Schedule:

    • Must be flexible between 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (staggered shifts)

    • Weekends and overtime may be required

    • ? Work Location: Los Angeles, CA 90033


Role Overview

Serves as the primary point of contact for patients accessing medical services. This role supports patient communication, appointment coordination, and registration while ensuring a high level of customer service and data accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle high-volume inbound/outbound calls and electronic communications

  • Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments

  • Register patients and verify insurance coverage

  • Communicate estimated financial responsibility when applicable

  • Route inquiries to appropriate medical personnel

  • Document interactions and maintain accurate patient records

  • Ensure data integrity and perform necessary reconciliations

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Minimum 2+ years of true hands-on experience in:

    • Call center environment (required – must be clearly demonstrated)

    • Customer service

    • Healthcare setting


  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Proven multitasking and organizational abilities

  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting medical specialties such as:

    • Endocrinology, GI/Liver, Infectious Disease, Nephrology, Pulmonary, or Rheumatology


  • Vocational training or certifications in:

    • Appointment scheduling

    • Patient registration

    • Insurance verification

    • Medical assisting


  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, business, or related field
