Job Title: Maintenance Technician 
Pay: $29.00 – $31.00 per hour (based on experience)
Shift: 2nd Shift, 2:00pm–10:30pm, Monday–Friday (Initial training on day shift for 90 days
Location: Duluth, GA

Position Overview
We are looking for a reliable Maintenance Technician to support equipment operations and facility upkeep in our manufacturing environment. This hands-on role focuses on equipment diagnosis, machine repairs, preventative maintenance, and supporting production uptime.

Key Responsibilities
•    Perform routine and preventive maintenance on a variety of manufacturing equipment (tanks, conveyors, motors, and more)
•    Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment breakdowns to root cause and implement effective repairs
•    Dismantle machinery and replace or repair defective components using appropriate tools and equipment
•    Inspect and measure machine parts to detect wear or failure, utilizing calipers, micrometers, and similar devices
•    Adjust or calibrate devices and controls (including drives and controllers) for proper functionality
•    Assist in fabrication of parts and modifications utilizing shop equipment and welding as needed
•    Maintain detailed maintenance records, work orders, and inventory of spare parts
•    Comply with all safety protocols, contribute to a safe and clean work environment, and support team operations

Required Qualifications
•    Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Maintenance Technician, Maintenance Mechanic, or similar role in a manufacturing setting
•    High school diploma or GED; technical/vocational training or trade certification preferred
•    Competency with mechanical troubleshooting, use of hand and power tools, and basic machine shop equipment
•    Ability to read and interpret technical documents (manuals, schematics, maintenance procedures)
•    Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs., maneuvering heavy parts, and working on your feet for extended periods

Preferred Qualifications
•    Experience with welding and fabrication
•    Computer literacy for maintenance tracking and documentation
•    Experience in food manufacturing or a regulated industry environment
•    Strong understanding of workplace safety standards and regulations
•    Willingness to work occasional overtime or extended shifts as needed
