Location: Ivyland, PA
Pay range: $25–$30/hour
Schedule: Full-Time, Mon–Fri 7:30 AM–4:00 PM | On-site

We are a medical device developer focused on creating next-generation technologies for personal health monitoring. Our team is pioneering innovative treatment and diagnostic devices that help advance modern healthcare. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Soldering Technician to join our growing production and engineering support team.
This is a hands-on, full-time on-site role working with advanced microelectronic assemblies and state-of-the-art equipment. Candidates should be passionate about precision work, problem-solving, and contributing to meaningful medical technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform rework and testing of electronic printed circuit board (PCB) assemblies used in medical devices
- Track and document rework progress accurately
- Support research and development of new components, assemblies, and manufacturing processes
- Assist engineering teams with design, testing, modification, fabrication, and assembly of prototype devices and test equipment
- Contribute to process development and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with quality system procedures and regulatory requirements
Required Skills & Experience
- Intermediate to advanced microelectronic soldering skills required
- Experience with PCB rework, ideally including HDI circuits and microscope-assisted micro soldering
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Ability to work in a regulated environment (ISO or FDA design control experience is a plus)
- Experience in medical device assembly is a plus
Applicants will be asked to demonstrate soldering skills during the interview process.
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Technical training or relevant hands-on soldering experience strongly preferred
Work Environment
This role operates in both a professional office and laboratory setting. Work includes the use of soldering stations, microscopes, laser equipment, and standard office tools such as computers. Full training will be provided for specialized equipment.

- Excellent close, distance, and color vision required
- Ability to focus and adjust vision for detailed work
- Strong fine motor skills for precision soldering and assembly work
- Ability to perform repetitive, detail-oriented tasks for extended periods
