Schedule: Tuesday–Saturday | 1:00 AM – 9:15 AM
Type: Contract (Temp-to-Perm Opportunity)
Hours: 40 hours/week | Non-Exempt
Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable and hands-on Maintenance Worker to support operations within a fast-paced production environment. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial equipment to ensure minimal downtime and efficient workflow. Ideal candidates are mechanically inclined, safety-focused, and able to work independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production and facility equipment
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues on conveyor and sortation systems
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and urgent maintenance needs
- Complete preventative maintenance tasks according to schedule
- Assist with installation and setup of machinery and equipment
- Maintain and organize spare parts and maintenance inventory
- Read and interpret basic schematics, manuals, and diagrams
- Use tools and testing equipment (e.g., multimeter) to diagnose issues
- Support general facility upkeep, including cleaning and minor repairs
- Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of maintenance, mechanical, or industrial experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment and perform repairs independently
- Comfortable working with hand tools and diagnostic equipment
- Familiarity with conveyor systems or automated equipment is a plus
- Basic computer skills (Windows environment)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, production environment
