Production Supervisor (Full-Time, On-Site)
Location: South Windsor, CT
Shift: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday & alternating Saturday, 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Salary: $66,500 – $72,500 annually + additional pay for overtime + bonus 

Overview
We are seeking a Production Supervisor to lead operations at our South Windsor facility. This role is responsible for ensuring all client service level agreements (SLAs) are met efficiently, while maintaining high standards for quality, compliance, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily production operations to meet client SLAs and regulatory requirements (including SEC guidelines)

  • Prioritize and manage client mailings on the production floor

  • Monitor and optimize production lines for maximum throughput and cost efficiency

  • Coordinate staffing and resources across departments to ensure smooth operations

  • Supervise production staff, including scheduling, delegation, and performance management

  • Ensure all operators are properly trained in technical processes, quality standards, and ISO requirements

  • Manage labor levels, including use of temporary staff, based on production volume

  • Minimize equipment downtime by assigning appropriate jobs and maintaining workflow

  • Drive cross-training initiatives to improve workforce flexibility and reduce costs

  • Plan and adjust staffing schedules to align with workload demands

  • Communicate priorities and updates between shifts to ensure continuity

  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with vendors for parts and supplies

  • Partner with operations to implement preventative maintenance schedules

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • 3–5 years of supervisory experience in a production environment

  • 3–5 years of print or equipment maintenance experience

  • Strong leadership and team management skills

  • Experience in quality, compliance, and risk management

  • Solid understanding of production and operations management

  • Ability to manage costs and improve operational efficiency

  • Proficiency with computer systems and production tools

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
