Kelly is currently seeking an Associate Pipeline Operations Technician for a long-term opportunity in the Freeport, Texas area! The Associate Pipeline Operations Tech will review pipeline records and perform field visits to verify equipment status and jurisdiction demarcations. This person will also work closely with Maintenance Engineers to develop FLOC’s and PPM’s for routine inspections. This role requires established basic technical skills to perform a range of routine work activities using existing processes and methods.
Primary Responsibilities
- Review pipeline records to verify status of equipment.
- Provide information required to create FLOC’s within SAP for equipment.
- Develop inspection strategy for pipeline ground interfaces.
- Identify pipeline demarcations.
- Understand life critical standards.
Experience Required
- Short-Cycle Tertiary Degree (i.e. Associate’s Degree) plus manufacturing or other related experience preferred. *** In lieu of degree, 5 years or more of pipeline experience required. **
EXPERIENCE Preferred
- Knowledge of equipment and pipeline corridors managed by Site Pipeline
- Proficient knowledge level of SAP
Work Schedule and Hours:
40-hour work week. 4/10 Schedule.
Day shift work. 7AM or 8AM start time with core hours supported.
