Job Type: Temp to Hire
Schedule: 2nd Shift Monday – Friday 6PM – 2:30AM (Must be okay to work until 4:30AM)
Pay Rate: $21.00/hour
Job Overview
The Quality Control Checker is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and quality of all inbound and outbound shipments. This role plays a key part in maintaining inventory integrity by verifying product count, condition, labeling, and order accuracy before shipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify the quantity, quality, labeling, and addressing of outbound shipments
- Check orders picked and assembled by Order Selectors for accuracy
- Identify and report shortages, damages, or mis-shipments
- Ensure all outgoing shipments match customer order requirements
- Perform detailed product inspections to maintain quality standards
- Follow all established procedures and instructions from management
Qualifications
- Must have a minimum 2 years of experience in a similar warehouse or quality control role required
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Excellent analytical and math skills
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Ability to stand and/or walk for 10–12 hours per shift
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs without restriction
- Willingness to work in a warehouse environment with varying conditions
Schedule Requirements
- Must be available to work 2nd shift
- Flexibility to work extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
