Kelly Services is seeking an experienced Maintenance Tech for our client in West Chicago, IL. West Chicago is just outside Warrenville, IL.
Candidates must have excellent work history, in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the ink industry. Must have experience with:
- Conduit bending, stick welding, mig welding and tig welding
- Cutting torch and pipe threading
- HS Diploma/GED
This is a Direct Hire, Permanent position, meaning you will be hired permanently with our client and offered their competitive benefit and vacation package upon hire.

Job details:
Pay: $30 – 35/hr.
Hours: 6a – 230pm Mon-Fri, plus overtime
Position summary:
- Complete all maintenance functions including preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing manufacturing equipment, while promoting and practicing safety at all times, and contributing to the continuous improvement of plant equipment by finding ways to eliminate unscheduled downtime and improve efficiency.
- Maintaining and repairing all production equipment and industrial facility
- Working independently and as a team member
- Assisting production in manufacturing on an as-needed basis
- Updating and maintaining accurate maintenance records
- Maintaining work area in 5S condition
Qualifications:
- Have a high school diploma or GED
- Have 3-4 years related experience and/or training in an industrial maintenance environment
- Demonstrate mechanical and electrical skills
- Have excellent written, reading comprehension and math skills
- Exhibit the ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- Demonstrate ability to read and understand blueprints and/or schematic drawings to determine the proper work procedures and assembly requirements
- Have direct knowledge of how to troubleshoot, repair and maintain pumps, mixers, and processing equipment
- Be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Problem-solving skills
- Conduit bending, stick welding, mig welding and tig welding
- Cutting torch and pipe threading
- Previous experience within the Ink Industry
