Position Summary:
The Assembly Operator I is responsible for assembling components and ensuring the highest quality standards are met. This role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environment. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with potential for long-term employment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble components using small hand tools, microscopes, and fixtures according to detailed work instructions and drawings.
  

• Inspect products to ensure quality standards are met; perform pull tests and measurements using calipers, gauges, and other devices.
  

• Complete all necessary paperwork for operational traceability and product documentation.
  

• Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs to equipment as needed.
  

• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all housekeeping standards.
  

• Follow Company’s Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) policies and procedures.
  

• Assist with additional duties as assigned to support production goals.
  

• Operate machinery and move between work zones as required.
  

• Read and interpret product blueprints when needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
  

• Minimum one year of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  

• Basic computer and good communication skills preferred.
  

• Experience with measuring devices (calipers, gauges) preferred.
  

• Ability to interpret product blueprints preferred.
  

• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  

• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
  

• Able to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds.
  

• Able to remain stationary for up to 75% of the shift.
  

• Proficient in English and able to follow written instructions.
