Assembly Operator I

Location: Fairview, NC
Pay Rate: $17.61/hr
Shift: 1st shift (7am-3:30pm)

Role Summary:
We manufacture relays and switches for the aerospace industry. As an Assembly Operator I, you will assemble components using hand tools, microscopes, and fixtures according to work instructions. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to collaborate with others, and a commitment to safety and quality standards.

Skills:

  • Component assembly using small tools and microscopes

  • Inspection and quality control of finished work

  • Measurement using calipers, gages, and other devices

  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings and work instructions

  • Basic troubleshooting and minor equipment repairs

  • Good communication and teamwork

  • Organizational skills for maintaining a clean work area

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED (preferred)

  • 1+ year experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred)

  • Basic computer skills

  • Ability to use measuring devices

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain stationary for extended periods

  • Ability to move between work zones and operate machinery

  • Proficient in reading and understanding written instructions in English

  • Willingness to work overtime as needed to meet production goals

  • Must meet ITAR/EAR requirements (U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent resident, asylee, or refugee)
